Collating

Collating is the process of gathering and assembling individual sheets and other elements of your printed book project into a final product. These copiers can collate automatically, with our high-speed collating equipment and printing tools;  saving us the time it would take for hand-collation.

Folding

iPrints offers many different folding options to fit any needs for your printed piece. We have half fold, tri-fold, z-fold, gate fold, accordion fold, etc. If you need high-speed folding, our bindery and finishing department provides many different options for folding. Some high-speed folding machines can fold at speeds exceeding 5,000 sheets per hour. We also offer hand-folding options.

Handy Works

We do gluing, tying, folding, labeling, collating, stamping, inserting, gluing, sealing, product attachment, kitting, packing and anything else you can imagine. Our bindery services department is fully capable of handling all your labor-intensive needs.

Hole Drilling

We’ve experts holes drillers, and punching tools; such as powerful hydraulic paper drilling machines that feature many different sizes of paper drills. Just remember to allow 1/2 an inch of extra margin for three-hole drilling along the side of the sheet of paper.

Laminating

Let us laminate your printed booklets for you! Laminating prolongs the life of your printed projects. It increases durability, preserves the colors, and enables your projects to withstand environmental conditions such as moisture. It also protects your booklets from fingerprints, abrasions, and smudges. The glossy or matte finish will give your project a professional look that you can be proud of.

Numbering

Books numbering is an effective way to maintain accurate records and improve organization. Many carbonless forms and invoices require sequential numbering. We can number a variety of papers and sheet sizes for you using roman numerals and numbers where necessary.

Paper Cutting

We have very different types of paper cutters that are extremely fast and accurate. Such tools can achieve numerus finishing abilities such as round corners, scoring, trimming, die cutting, etc. Our commercial paper cutters feature high-pressure hydraulic clamps to prevent paper shifting and razor-sharp carbon steel blades to guarantee the most precise cuts.

Perforating

Perforating a printed form or notepad can create an easy-to-remove response card, coupon, or customer feedback form. Our wide variety of perforating machines gives you the flexibility when printing pieces that need to separate effortlessly.

Shrink Wrapping

We use high-quality shrink wrap materials to provide you with an attractive and secure method of bundling larger quantities of printed book materials. Shrink wrap process uses semi-automatic equipment to meet high-volume demands without compromising quality.

Booklet Making Machine

Booklet making machine is a truly amazing piece of equipment that collates, staples, and folds loose sheets into very nice and professional looking booklets.

Tape Bindings

Tape bindings  is known for its strength and durability, tape binding is frequently the choice of librarians and graduate school professors. Works best with documents up to 300 pages. We also provide printed or plain covers, clear acetate covers, and other types of binding covers for specialty projects.

Comb Binding

Comb binding is the classic round plastic bindings that require nineteen little square holes in each sheet of paper. This process can be used for books up to 400 pages.

Spiral Binding

Coil binding, also known as spiral binding, is a commonly used bookbinding style for creating documents, reports, presentations, notebooks and proposals. Documents bound with spiral coil have the ability to open flat on the desk and offer 360° rotation for easier note-taking. This binding method is perfect for promotional documents used for direct mail distribution services.

Comb Binding

Comb binding is one of the many ways to secure pages together into a book. This method utilizes round plastic spines, 19 rings, and a hole puncher that makes rectangular holes. Comb binding is sometimes referred to as plastic-comb binding or spiral-comb binding. Our printing firm has a large variety of different-sized comb bindings, ranging from 3/16 of an inch (for 10 sheets of 20# paper) up to 2 inches (for 400 sheets of 20 pound paper).

Perfect Binding

Perfect binding provides a result similar to that of a paperback book. The old telephone directory book is a common example. We use this method to bind school manuals, instruction manuals, and many varieties of soft-covered books. We print the heavy-duty covers and attach them at the spine with a strong, flexible glue.

Stapling

Stapling is one of the simplest and most effective methods of binding exercise books used today. In addition to stapling loose sheets together through the front of the page, you can saddle-stitch (staple through the spine) magazines and other multi-page items such as catalogs, annual reports, and newsletters.

Saddle Stitching

Saddle Stitching is the term used when multiple pages are bound together along the fold with 2 staples. We offer inline saddle stitching on digital presses to help provide faster turn times for your printing project.

Saddle-stitching is a sturdy, durable, and attractive binding option. The number of pages our saddle-stitching equipment can bind together varies depending on the weight types of printing paper used.

Wire-o Binding

Wire binding is one of the most popular commercial bookbinding methods used in business today. Known by a number of different names, including spiral notebook binding, twin loop wire, Wire-o, and double loop wire, wire-bound materials can look extremely creative when a colorful wire is used. Wire-bound documents look very, although it is difficult to add or delete pages once a document has been wire-bound.

UV Coating

UV coating is one of the most common books binding and finishing services used today. UV coating (or radiation cured coating) is a surface treatment which either is cured by ultraviolet radiation, or which protects the underlying material from such radiation’s harmful effects.

Lettering is an umbrella term that covers the art of drawing letters or signs, especially on fabric. Lettering is considered an art form, where each letter in a phrase or quote acts as an illustration. Each letter is created with attention to detail and has a unique look and feel.
